Killing you and giving good advice aren't mutually exclusive.

Hahah, Tuomi's expression in the last panel is priceless. Even Weed is telling him to shut up and listen.

@Cesario: Seriously!? I though my joke was kinda lame.
If I was a person that easily cries I'd be crying tears of joy cause I do feel them gathering behind my eyes...

Now my guess is the guy is on the secret service and it's illegal to reveal them while it'd be illegal for Tuomi not to reveal his existence and the queen ,oops, regent can force the truth out of him(just asking if he's not performing his duties to the most effort). What he CAN do is capture and change the guy's clothes show him to his family and regent then he goes on his way.
If that's so them fairies seem so used to poetic stuff they can barely tell this paradox(or as you said oxymoron) is crudely made.Like "eternal regent". Why not just give her the crown already!?Or it's enchanted and deadly for usurpers? That'd explain put they could make a new one for her dynasty still...
This got longer than planned...

@BurstThrough: Nope, it was cute and we laughed. :)

Oooh, theories! It's such a great feeling seeing people elaborate upon your own layers of meaning, please do continue. (Maybe they just like the idea of royalty but never really worked out how to execute it properly?)
